Skills and Qualifications:

• Four-year college degree in the Human Service field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of four years successful business experience in health care or related industry preferred.

• Minimum of five years successful supervisory or management experience preferred.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong planning and organization skills to achieve business goal units.

• Ability to work well with others and be part of an interdisciplinary team.

• Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to maintain effectiveness during change.

• Experience working with financial statements and being responsible for profitability of a business unit.

• Ability to lead and work well with others.

• Considerable knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare guidelines.

Responsibilities:

1 .Supervise all direct care staff members as required by agency policy.

2 .Ensure compliance of all staff members with agency policy and procedures.

3 .Coordinate, implement and document all staff training and education.

4 .Coordinate and implement all Quality Assurance/ Quality Improvement Activities.

5 .Communicate all maintenance, financial and staffing needs to the CEO.

6 .Supervise, evaluate, and when appropriate, countersign all documentation regarding consumers’ treatment and progress.

7 .Manage and administer all programs and activities, while ensuring compliance with all agencies polices.

8 .Responsible for development and update of company policies and procedures.

9 .Motivate staff to achieve performance and production goals.

10. Develop new and implement existing employee retention and succession planning tools.

11. Track and review performance to ensure expectations are effectively communicated and met.

12. Work with banks and/or financial institutions regarding company performance.

20. Review all contracts with facilities and clients.

21. Responsible for licensure with the state of Virginia and related entities.

22. Assess health care industry with the purpose of determining which markets to pursue.

Skills:

• Attend and participate in staff meetings, clinical treatment meetings and skill trainings/updates.

• One (1) year of documented experience in the Children’s and Families population.

Skills and Qualifications:

I.)Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, substance abuse, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited college or university, you need:

• To submit an official transcript.

• Evidence you have had an intern or practicum of at least 500 hours of experience with persons who have a mental illness. (Verification of Internship/Practicum for QMHP form)


II.)  Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a human services or in special education from an accredited college, you need:

• To submit an official transcript.

• Evidence of 1,500 hours of supervised experience obtained within a 5-year period immediately preceding the application for registration. (hours with children or adolescents with mental illness during an internship or practicum can be considered as part of the 1,500 hours of supervised experience requirement)

III.) License as a registered nurse in Virginia, you need:

• 1,500 hours of supervised experience to be obtained within a 5-year period immediately preceding application for registration.


IV) License as an occupational therapist in Virginia, you need:

• 1,500 hours of supervised experience to be obtained within a 5-year period immediately preceding application for registration.

• Successful completion of criminal history background.

• Successful completion of CPR and First-Aid course.

• Successful completion of 20 hours of crisis management and service definition training.

• Successful completion of Social Service registry.

• Successful completion of Behavioral Management course.

Other requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities:

1.Provide Socialization Skills.

2.Coordinate with community agencies to carry out the treatment plan.

3.Provide direct services as indicated in the Service Plan.

4.Provide support and psychoeducation to consumers to assist them in achieving their recovery goals.
